Product description — Sensor Men

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nidecker Sensor Men is a versatile freestyle snowboard that lets you find your footing in the park, ride switch, and maintain pop without sacrificing forgiveness. The camber + rocker profile delivers pop on ollies and grip between the feet, with extra forgiveness at the tips.

What is the Nidecker Sensor Men snowboard designed for?

It’s designed for freestyle riding on the groomed runs, in the snowpark, and on the edges of the slopes, with enough responsiveness to hit the kickers and enough flexibility to work on jibbing. Its 100% twintip shape contributes to balanced performance between the nose and tail, making spins and landings easier. The camber + rocker profile provides grip between your feet, a boost coming out of turns, and plenty of forgiveness at the tips. The rockers help you lift off the snow more easily.

Who is the Nidecker Sensor Men snowboard designed for?

It’s designed for intermediate to advanced riders who already have good balance and want to improve their freestyle skills with a playful, stable board that’s versatile enough to handle the park, the groomed runs, and the backcountry.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
