Product description — Aura

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Raven Aura snowboard features a high-quality construction, with a poplar wood core reinforced by fiberglass, as well as a camber profile that offers a good balance between grip and forgiveness. You'll also find serrated edges and a soft flex for better comfort and control when turning, while improving the manoeuvrability and versatility of the board.

What is the programme of the Raven Aura snowboard?

The Raven Aura is a freestyle-oriented snowboard, with a twin-tip shape and Reverse Camber profile, offering secure grip on hard pack, while providing better forgiveness on edge catches. An ideal board to start off and progress in freestyle, build your confidence and try carved turns. It also glides well on soft snow and shallow powder on side hits, while remaining easy to ride and versatile.

Who is the Raven Aura snowboard for?

We recommend this model to beginner and intermediate female snowboarders seeking a board that is easy to ride and versatile to enjoy their sessions and progress in freestyle. Advanced riders will like its playfulness.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
