Product description — Evader

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rossignol Evader snowboard offers everything you need to progress in excellent conditions. Versatile, it allows you to initiate turns with ease and is suitable for both groomers and backcountry.

What is the Rossignol Evader snowboard made for?

The Evader features a directional shape, with a longer nose than tail, promoting float in powder and offering increased stability at high speeds. This design is perfect for free exploration of the backcountry. The rockers at the tips facilitate turn initiation on fresh snow and edge transfers. A traditional camber in the centre ensures excellent edge hold and precise control of trajectories. The set back binding stance also makes it easier to initiate turns on all types of snow.

Who is the Rossignol Evader snowboard aimed at?

It is recommended for beginner to intermediate snowboarders looking for a manoeuvrable and forgiving board. The Evader is particularly suited for those wanting to progress from groomers to side country in search of fresh snow.

Vezeiht kleine Fehler und ist gut für Anfänger geeignet, aber sobald der Boden bisschen eisig wird kommst du nichtmehr weiter, trozdem absolute Kaufempfehlung, um den Preis bekommst du nichts besseres

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
