Description

The Rossignol One is a versatile and evolutive snowboard, designed to ride everywhere on the mountain. It has a directional twin shape with a medium flex and camber + double rocker profile.

What is the programme of the Rossignol One snowboard?

The Rossignol One snowboard has a directional twin shape, meaning it is symmetrical from nose to tail but with a setback foot stance to facilitate turns and improve the floatability. The flex profile is directional, which enhances the backfoot control and offers better comfort when initiating turns. The One allows to link turns on every terrain effortlessly, while offering excellent rebound for carving, when pushing on the camber. The latter gets the best out of the wood core, while providing good grip. In addition, this camber is paired to serrated edges for superior precision on hardpack, while the urethane used in the L.I.T.E. construction dampens vibrations. You can ride fast, whether it is on groomers or off-piste, while enjoying amazing comfort and playfulness. The most experienced riders will be able to ride switch and do some freestyle!

Who is the Rossignol One snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate and advanced level snowboarders looking for a versatile and evolutive board to ride everywhere, at various paces and on different terrains. Experienced riders will be able to use it for freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
