The Bellevue is a snowboard designed by Salomon for female riders who enjoy carving beautiful turns on various terrains. Dynamic enough for powerful and responsive riding, while also being playful for tricks, this board will provide fun across the entire resort and in freeride.

What is the Salomon Bellevue snowboard made for?

The Bellevue features a directional shape with a slightly set-back stance and a tapered tail, offering more control on the back foot and making it easier to initiate turns. The flex is punchy for good pop, while remaining flexible enough to ensure stability at high speeds and allow for presses and other freestyle tricks. Additionally, the pronounced camber provides excellent grip on groomers, while the nose rocker facilitates float on soft snow and powder in the side country.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
