The Salomon Lotus is a women's snowboard designed for all-mountain freestyle riding. Thanks to its soft flex and Flat Out camber, it offers a lot of forgiveness and manoeuvrability, allowing you to fully enjoy the resort and progress quickly.

What is the Salomon Lotus snowboard made for?

The Salomon Lotus features a Twin-Tip shape, symmetrical from tip to tail with a centred stance. This shape is ideal for freestyle and riding switch, while maintaining a playful and forgiving board for backcountry freestyle. The Flat Out camber ensures good edge hold on hard snow, and the rocker zones at the tips provide more float in powder and forgive edge mistakes. The construction is of high quality, with a wood core reinforced with fibreglass and carbon, ensuring durability and response, while remaining a soft and easy-to-control board.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
