The Santa Cruz Decal is a twin-tip snowboard, perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail and with a perfectly centred foot position, which provides the best possible balance for switch and freestyle manoeuvres. It is a playful board with a good pop, thanks to its medium flex and camber + rockers profile.  

What is the program of the Santa Cruz Decal snowboard?  

Equipped with a classic camber and rocker on both spatulas, the Santa Cruz Decal offers great capabilities on all types of snow. On the piste, cut turns are easy to execute and you enjoy a good grip. Off-piste, you can pass over small powder without difficulty thanks to the lift provided by the rockers, but you will have to shift your weight to the back of the board in order to pass over deeper snow. Its medium flex gives you all the reactivity and stability needed to set the rhythm in the descents, while maintaining a board that is comfortable to ride and the flexibility of the spatulas to easily make ollies or presses!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
