Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Verdad named the Kepler after the famous astronomer Johannes Kepler, who also gave its name to a space telescope launched by the NASA in 2009. Indeed, this Verdad Kepler board invites you to defy gravity on any terrain, in the snowpark or backcountry. And to stick with the theme, the topsheet features a superb Artwork made by the Dutch artist Jeroen Peter representing an astronaut exploring the red planet.

What can the Verdad Kepler snowboard do?

Get ready to fly high! From stratospheric jumps to exploring faraway lands to plant your freestyle flag, the Kepler was crafted to take your riding to a new astral plane and beyond. To achieve this, Verdad has equipped this board with a high-tech construction worthy of a rocket, with a wood core reinforced with triaxial fiberglass, kevlar and carbon inserts. To make the most of this sandwich construction on all terrains, the Kepler boasts a Hybrid Camber combining classic camber for edge hold with rockered tips for floatation. Responsive when carving on piste, floaty in pow, poppy and dampening on kickers, this board just rocks in all circumstances.

Who is the Verdad Kepler snowboard designed for?

The Kepler is an amazing freestyle/backcountry board that will delight the snowboarders who are hungry for pow and thrills. Requires an advanced level.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
