Product description — Goliath

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Goliath blends power, lightness and pure riding enjoyment thanks to its construction. Its hybrid core of paulownia and poplar is both lightweight and lively, reinforced with triaxial fibreglass for excellent torsional stiffness. Carbon reinforcements complete the structure, delivering greater stability, rebound and responsiveness without sacrificing comfort. The playful flex combined with a subtle setback provides a natural, fluid ride feel. Like all Bataleon boards, it features 3BT (Triple Base Technology) tips that prevent unwanted edge catches and enhance overall forgiveness.

What is the Bataleon Goliath snowboard made for?

The Goliath sits firmly in the all-mountain freestyle category with its directional twin shape ensuring versatility and manoeuvrability. Designed to let you ride the whole resort effortlessly—whether carving on groomers, throwing tricks or floating through powder—it adapts seamlessly to every scenario. The discreet setback makes turn initiation easier while preserving the board’s freestyle capabilities. Concave tips add forgiveness on landings and when your balance slips up, while also optimising float in deep snow. Stable, precise and dynamic without being demanding, it’s an ideal companion for varied days across any terrain.

Who is the Bataleon Goliath snowboard aimed at?

The Goliath is perfect for intermediate to advanced riders seeking a versatile snowboard able to match their every ambition. Ideal for linking big turns on groomers, heading out into backcountry powder or getting creative with tricks on side hits or in the terrain park—it’s built for those who want to explore every inch of the mountain without ever getting bored.

Het is een fijn allround bord, maar ik ben teleurgesteld in de kwaliteit bij aflevering. Heb ‘m na 1 dag moeten laten waxen EN slijpen. Erg jammer voor zo’n kostbaar bord.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
