Description

The Burton Process Flying V is a more versatile, more pleasant to ride and more accessible version that its iconic big sister, the Process. Indeed, the Flying V camber features rocker outside and between the feet to improve playfulness and floatability, with camber under the bindings to enhance the responsiveness and grip.

What is the program of the Burton Process Flying V snowboard?

With its Flying V W rocker, this model is less radical to handle on groomed snow but ensures better floatability in powder and more playfulness in the terrain park. Ideal to link precise turns on the slopes and take a detour in the trees for some backcountry freestyle and finish the day in the park. Burton pays great attention to details and it transpires right away: the Squeezebox structure adds pop and dynamism, the Frostbit edges reinforce the grip and the wood core ensures a balanced flex for plenty of comfort and playfulness. You add a perfectly symmetrical shape and you get a board to fully explore your creativity by allowing maximum options with switch riding and landings.

Who is the Burton Process Flying V snowboard for?

The Process Flying V is meant for intermediate and advanced snowboarders who want a board cut for freestyle riding and versatility to ride on any terrain with great comfort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
