Description

The Burton Process Smalls model is the small brother of the Process. This children’s snowboard has a similar program, leaning toward all-round freestyle with its twin-tip shape. Suitable for smaller riders, it benefits from a flat camber and a softer flex to be more forgiving when catching an edge.

What is the program of the Burton Process Smalls snowboard?

The Process Smalls is designed with a wood core reinforced by triaxial glass fibres, providing a rather balanced flex. This facilitates the handling and makes it not energy consuming, while allowing to put some pace in the descents and to have pop. The flat camber enables to enjoy the entire resorts and all the terrains it offers by providing smooth glide on soft snow and secure grip on hardpack. Thanks to its perfectly symmetrical shape and the centred foot position, it feels natural to ride both ways, to be able to take off or land switch and show maximum creativity in freestyle.

Who is the Burton Process Smalls meant for?

Designed for intermediate and advanced young riders, this model is meant for those you want to progress in freestyle and enjoy the entire resort with an evolutive and versatile model.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
