Description

Welcome to paradise! Here's a superb board by Capita, made in the brand's Austrian factory, which runs on 100% renewable energy and uses FSC certified wood and 60% vegetable glue. The Capita Paradise is a twin-tip designed for female riders, offering riding comfort, freestyle playability and great all-round ability.

What is the programme of the Capita Paradise snowboard?

The Paradise has a Dual Core wood shell that combines poplar and beech for a mix of lightness and power. It offers a medium flex that is very pleasant to ride without straining the supports, while carbon and kevlar reinforcements increase pop while improving cushioning. You jump higher in ollie, you get more boost in turns and the vibrations are a little less felt when you pick up speed. It provides lots of fun, thanks to the secure grip offered by the classic camber, while the rocker zones with the spatulas allow you to pass through the small powder on the edges of the piste without problems!

Who is the Capita Paradise snowboard for?

We recommend the Capita Paradise to intermediate to advanced snowboarders who ride in the resort and like to vary the terrain and the pleasures while maintaining a comfortable ride at all times. Freestyle, fun and versatility are the watchwords for this snowboard!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
