Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nidecker Concept is a top-of-the-range model from Nidecker, equipped with some of the best technologies of the brand including an N-Tech construction, a layer of Absorbnid to absorb vibrations, a Light Core that offers an excellent weight/power ratio and a very qualitative sole that provides a super glide whatever the quality of snow is.

What is the program of the Nidecker Concept snowboard?

The Concept has a very pronounced directional shape, offering as much efficiency on hard snow as in powder snow. It starts with a nice volume in the front tip, evolves by refining the skate with a fairly short curve radius and ends with a refined tail and marked with a specific shape that allows both for a longer edge length and therefore grip on the piste, while improving the lift in powder snow. With its fairly stiff flex, short radius and well-marked classic camber, the Concept offers maximum aggressiveness and precision during carving, with fast, tight turns, edge-to-edge revival and stability at high speed. The very backward foot position makes it easy to get into curves, while further improving the carving action in the wind. The result is a board that is dynamic, stable and manoeuvrable, whether you're on the freshly groomed slopes or navigating in the powder between the pines.

Who is the Nidecker Concept snowboard for?

This model is intended for experienced or expert snowboarders who like to go downhill and draw lines with curves and dynamism. Beware, the Concept requires a technically advanced knowledge and a very good balance.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
