Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nidecker Score is a board with a versatile shape, symmetrical like a freestyle board but with a slightly setback foot position to give it more manoeuvrability. In addition, a tonic but comfortable core that is physically accessible, it's a super nice snowboard to ride all over the resort!

What is the program of the snowboard Nidecker Score?

The Score is a twin directional snowboard, symmetrical but with a slight recoil of the binding's inserts. You can ride it in switch without any problem, which offers more options in freestyle, but you enjoy a better ride with notably easier curve entry. Overall, it's a pretty easy board to ride, thanks to a construction that gives the right balance between pop and suppleness, so you can take off in ollie and still be comfortable in turns. Its camrock profile, with camber under the feet and rocker on the spatulas, provides both grip in turns and a good lift in powder. So, you can enjoy a very versatile board with which you can improve your skills on the slopes as well as have fun on the edges of the piste or in the snowpark.

Who is the Nidecker Score snowboard for?

While it is accessible to a beginner who is not afraid of a challenge this model is primarily intended for snowboarders with a small technical base and the desire to go further or for intermediate snowboarders who are looking for a board that is fun to ride and versatile.

What are the main qualities of the Nidecker Score snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
