Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Sensor Pro snowboard from Nidecker is built on a solid freestyle foundation. Compared to the Sensor Mons, this version is even stiffer, even more physical, and even more explosive. It’s built for XL lines in the snowpark and big air kickers, with performance tailored for riders who already put a lot of effort into their turns.

What’s the Nidecker Sensor Pro snowboard all about?

Part of a versatile freestyle lineup, it’s designed to hit big features hard, build speed on challenging park runs, and maintain maximum support on hard landings. Its true twin shape and centered inserts ensure perfect balance in switch, which is essential for rotations and technical tricks. The CamRock profile provides the grip and rebound needed to charge into jumps, while maintaining a minimum level of forgiveness thanks to the rockers at the tip and tail. The Pop Carbon reinforcements promise responsiveness underfoot for a snappier takeoff and more power coming out of turns.

Who is the Nidecker Sensor Pro snowboard designed for?

It’s designed for advanced to expert snowboarders who want a very responsive freestyle board for big air, big features, and challenging snowpark runs. It is not intended for beginners, as its stiffness requires technique, speed, and solid footing to be used effectively.

Can you ride the Sensor Pro on the groomed runs?

Yes, it allows for aggressive carving on the groomed runs thanks to its edge grip and excellent stability at high speeds.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
