Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nitro Lectra Abstract is a playful and versatile snowboard, designed for riders who want to tackle the whole mountain with confidence. Thanks to its hybrid camber profile (traditional camber between the feet and rocker at the tips), it combines reliable edge hold, dynamic pop, and manoeuvrability in deep snow. It excels equally well on groomers, on side hits, and in the terrain park, delivering a smooth and progressive ride.

What is the Nitro Lectra Abstract snowboard made for?

The Lectra Abstract is an all-mountain freestyle board with a directional twin shape, making it just as comfortable riding regular as it is in switch. Its traditional camber between the feet provides solid edge grip, while the rocker zones add playfulness, forgiveness, and float in powder. Whether you’re linking tricks in the park or exploring freshly covered backcountry country areas, this board is versatile, intuitive, and progressive, adapting to all your riding desires.

Who is the Nitro Lectra Abstract snowboard aimed at?

The Nitro Lectra Abstract is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders seeking a versatile, fun, and friendly board that will support their technical progression. If you enjoy mixing things up between carving, powder, and freestyle, while keeping a board that’s easy to handle, then this model is made for you.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
