What is the Verdad Emperor Green snowboard made for?

The Verdad Emperor Green, with its perfectly symmetrical twin-tip configuration from nose to tail, is ideal for serious freestyle sessions in the terrain park and much more. Although primarily designed for freestyle, this board performances in other riding styles as well. It is relatively stiff, providing power and liveliness thanks to its traditional camber enriched with pop and excellent rebound capabilities on groomers. Its wood core reinforced with carbon and Kevlar ensures great stability at high speeds. This is a board built for speed, suitable for all terrains. It performs well in powder, although it requires some technique and leg strength to fully enjoy.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
