The Verdad Emperor is an all-mountain freestyle snowboard, with a twin-tip shape and responsive flex, allowing to ride aggressively and have fun in the entire resort.  

What is the program of the Verdad Emperor snowboard? 

The Verdad Emperor is a twin-tip snowboard, i.e. it is totally symmetrical from nose to tail, making it fully compatible with freestyle park sessions... but not only that. Freestyle-friendly yes, but this board can do much more. Somewhat stiff and therefore powerful, it relies on a traditional camber which provides lots of pop and great rebound on groomers. The wood construction reinforced by carbon and Kevlar makes it very stable at higher speeds. This board likes to go fast, not matter the terrain. No problem in powder either, but you will need the skills and solid legs to have fun.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
