Description

The Winter Is Mine from Verdad is a versatile snowboard, ideal for resort days or in the backcountry. Its directional twin shape with a slightly setback foot stance offers maximum efficiency and manoeuvrability in turns, while allowing to ride powder easily.

What is the program of the Verdad Winter Is Mine snowboard?

The Winter Is Mine has a directional twin shape, providing good float in powder, while retaining good manoeuvrability on groomed snow or even in the park. The flex is rather soft, but the camber is here to provide responsiveness and stability. Grip on hard snow is confidence inspiring, while the rockers at the tips offer a smooth glide in powder and facilitate turn initiations. Finally, the slightly setback foot stance provides more control and manoeuvrability in the turns, making edge transfers easy.

Who is the Verdad Winter Is Mine snowboard for?

We recommend the Verdad Winter Is Mine to intermediate and advanced level snowboarders looking for a do-it-all board to ride in the entire resort and off-piste, no questions asked.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
