Product description — Winter Is Mine - 157

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Verdad Winter Is Mine is a versatile snowboard designed to deliver outstanding sensations both on groomers and in more remote areas such as the backcountry. Thanks to its directional twin shape and slightly setback inserts, it offers excellent responsiveness when carving turns and enhanced float in deep snow, all while maintaining great manoeuvrability on hardpack.

What is the Verdad Winter Is Mine snowboard made for?

The Winter Is Mine features a directional twin shape that boosts stability in powder while retaining agility on groomers and through terrain park features. Its relatively soft flex makes it easy to handle and adds playfulness to your ride, whereas the traditional camber ensures reactivity and solid edge hold on firm snow. Rockered tips smooth out transitions from edge to edge and improve lift in softer conditions, making turns feel fluid. The setback stance further enhances downhill control for an intuitive, effortless ride.

Who is the Verdad Winter Is Mine snowboard aimed at?

This board is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders seeking a model capable of seamlessly transitioning from groomed runs to untouched powder fields. It’s ideal for those who love exploring every corner of the mountain with style, precision, and enjoyment.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
