Description

The Yes Hel Yes is a snowboard that's as versatile as it is high-performance. Construction-wise, it benefits from a poplar, paulownia and bamboo core, both lighter and offering more pop and responsiveness than a traditional 100% poplar core. The flex is quite firm and perfectly suited to this board's performance objective. The shape is twin directional, i.e. the shape is symmetrical between front and rear but the foot position is set back slightly. This makes it easier to get out of the way in powder and engage turns on all types of terrain, while retaining a true tail for switch and freestyle riding. Finally, the camber + double rocker profile adds versatility. Thanks to the classic camber section, it ensures efficient edge hold and recovery in turns, while the rocker in the tips absorbs uneven terrain and improves floatation, and facilitates edge-to-edge transitions on hard snow. With the Hel Yes, you get a snowboard that can handle all types of terrain, set the pace on descents and do a bit of freestyle. Perfect for proven to expert snowboarders who don't want to set any limits.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
