Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Raven Carbon Powder Split is a premium splitboard designed for demanding riders who want to combine uphill touring with downhill snowboarding. With its directional shape and carbon reinforcements, it offers exceptional stiffness and edge hold. Ideal for freeriding, it stands out for its manoeuvrability and performance in powder.

What is the Raven Carbon Powder Split snowboard made for?

The Raven Carbon Powder Split is designed for splitboard enthusiasts who want to explore the mountain in total freedom. Thanks to its traditional camber between the feet and rockers at the tips, this board offers excellent edge hold and optimal float in powder. In the climbs, it splits into two to transform into touring skis, when descending, it handles like a stiff and precise freeride board. The use of a carbon top layer provides a rather stiff flex, reduces vibrations, and delivers power. This splitboard is an ultra-punchy model that allows you to enjoy the entire resort.

Who is the Raven Carbon Powder Split snowboard aimed at?

We recommend this splitboard to intermediate to advanced riders who are comfortable on all types of terrain and snow, and who wish to explore every corner of the mountain. It is perfect for those looking to progress while having fun.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
