Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rome Uprise is a splitboard with a fairly simple construction, with a wood and fiberglass sandwich, reinforced with carbon stringers for more rebound and stability. The shape is directional for maximum manoeuvrability in all types of snow.

What is the Rome Uprise splitboard program?

The Rome Uprise has a directional shape, tapered backwards and with a re-curved foot position which allows you to have an easier entry into the curve while enjoying a natural lift in powder. The camber is also directional, with a strong rocker on the front and a classic camber on the rest of the board. The idea is again to facilitate the entry of curves and the lift, while ensuring a solid grip on hard snow. Efficient on all types of snow, it offers you reactivity and stability during your runs thanks to its Stomp Core sandwiched in a layer of triaxial and biaxial glass fibres. A board that will allow you to send during descents, on piste as well as off-piste, after a well-deserved ascent.

Who is the Rome Uprise splitboard for?

We recommend this model from the advanced level to snowboarders who are looking for a freeride splitboard that performs well on all terrains without being too physically demanding. With its low price compared to the competition, it is also a good option for consumers with a small budget.

What are the main qualities of the Rome Uprise splitboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
