Which sports nutrition products should you choose?
Outdoor activities require a considerable amount of energy. Food and hydration are therefore essential for preventing fatigue and a drop in endurance. Nothing can replace a healthy, balanced and appropriate diet that meets your nutritional requirements. However, to help avoid difficulties, you can rely on energy gels, which provide sugars, vitamins and minerals that can be absorbed immediately. Energy bars, meanwhile, often contain additional protein. Fruit purées encourage more gradual absorption, are easier to digest and help prevent the reactive hypoglycaemia that can follow a blood sugar spike. Food supplements help the body perform at its full potential, reduce the onset of muscle soreness, repair muscle fibres and improve concentration.
