Product description — Ultimate Cover Gris Foncé Reactiv Performance 2-4
The Julbo Ultimate Cover sunglasses feature a nothing but conventional wrap around frape. Their single lens offers a wide field of vision. The curved temples ensure perfect stability, enhanced by the Grip Tech temple tips. The 3D Fit Nose pads are soft and grippy, they adapt to any shape for failproof stability. One cannot forget to mention the nose protector, it allows to avoid regrettable sun burns. Note that it is, of course, removable, just like the side shields which prevent sun light from blinding you from the sides. This frame also lets the air flow, preventing fogging. Finally, it is compatible with a ski or climbing helmet.
In terms of optics, the Reactiv Performance 2-4 photochromic lens is made of Trivex, a material known for its durability and great efficiency against UV light. This lens changes shade according to the ambient light it is submitted to. It gets darker or clearer, no matter the temperature, and goes from category 2 to 4 for an all-round mountain and high altitude usage, skiing, mountaineering, mountain biking or paragliding. This lens benefits from an anti-fog coating on the inner face and an oleophobic coating to keep it clean, promote water displacement and make cleaning easier.
