Product description — Powder Town Summit Blue

The Patagonia Powder Town is a ski jacket designed for resort riding, with waterproof and breathable protection. Its 2-layer outer fabric, compliant with the H2No™ standard, helps keep moisture out while allowing perspiration to escape. The smooth mesh lining makes it easy to layer with an insulating mid-layer or technical base layer depending on the temperature. Its shaped fit and articulated sleeves move with you. The high collar protects the neck and lower face when conditions deteriorate. The main fabric, membrane and durable water-repellent finish are made without intentionally added PFAS. This model is made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, with a premium paid to the workers involved in its production.

Can the hood be worn with a helmet?

Yes, the fixed hood is helmet-compatible. It adjusts at two points and features a laminated peak to help maintain visibility in poor weather.

How do you release excess heat during exertion?

Underarm ventilation zips allow you to air the jacket quickly without taking it off. They are useful during more active phases or when the temperature rises.

Does the jacket have a powder skirt?

Yes, it features a low-profile powder skirt. A centred webbing loop at the back allows it to be attached to compatible Powder Town trousers.

What storage options are included?

The jacket includes two zipped handwarmer pockets with brushed tricot lining, a chest pocket, a forearm pocket, an internal zipped pocket and an internal stash pocket.

Does the RECCO® reflector replace an avalanche transceiver?

No, the RECCO® reflector enables equipped rescuers to locate a directional signal. It does not replace appropriate avalanche safety equipment.
