Description

The Alpinist 10 model is a Low Tech binding designed by Marker that benefits from great lightness with its 540 grams the pair, while ensuring good performances when it comes to sending it in the descents.  

It features a carbon reinforced front toe piece to guarantee a great weight/stiffness balance, as well as anti-ice elastomer pads to make it easier to get in. The heel piece features a three level heel lift that allows to choose between 0°, 5° and 9° while allowing to easily switch from climbing to descending mode. You can also add brakes (compatible with the Marker Alpinist brakes). Finally, this model offers a total adjustment of 15 mm and a DIN range that goes from 4 to 10.

These bindings are sold without any brake or leash. To add one of these accessories, check our section dedicated to ski touring binding brakes and leashes.

Important notice: this binding comes with a Medium U-Bow corresponding to DIN 8. We recommend that lighter skiers (55 kg and less or 8.66 st) change the U-Bow of the heel piece for a Soft U-Bow, as it will correspond to DIN 6 and will make it easier to get in.
