Description

Compatibility: check our compatibility chart to be sure your ski touring boots are compatible with this binding. As stated in the chart, some boots are compatible to the condition of using Marker’s adapter. This adapter is available to order (retail price 19.90€).

This binding is compatible with skis with a waist width between 75 mm and 100 mm.

The Kingpin is the first pin binding to successfully meet the DIN ISO 13992 : 2007 standard from the German organisation TÜV. This is the result of the cooperation between Marker’s engineers and their numerous years of experience and the knowledge of the athletes from the touring team. The Kingpin features an activation mechanism with a well-defined setting range that you can trust. This binding also features a function that compensates the length differences to ensure proper release even when the ski flexes. After tests done with specific equipment, it turns out the Kingpin works consistently. The very specific heel piece of this binding enables direct and efficient power transfer, which provides the best performance possible, both in the climbs and descents. The Kingpin has been designed with great attention to details to offer great comfort of use, the use of the heel lifts, the switch from hike to ski mode, everything is of utmost simplicity.
