Description

The XT3 Tour W is a high-end touring ski bootdeveloped by Lange for committed freeride skiers looking for a boot that allows for great touring while still delivering great downhill performance. Indeed, the XT3 Tour offers a 115 flex for maximum tibial support, plus four Alu Light hooks and a 40 mm power strap for impeccable support, but features a Grilamid shell to keep the weight as low as possible, as well as other lightened elements (Alu Light buckles, Polypropylene Light insole, etc.). The weight/power ratio isn't the only advantage of this ski touring boot. The Active V-Lock ski/walking system offers 53° of travel for easier climbing. The Vibram ISO 9523 outsole is designed for rocky ascents on foot, with a raised front and a patterned tread for enhanced grip. The shell construction is designed for easy on/off. Finally, the 3D Touring liner with EVA insulation provides good thermal comfort, wraps the foot well and adds precision, as does the 99 mm foot volume, which is close enough to the foot. With all these technologies and technical features, you can really take your freeride skiing to the next level. A model designed for expert skiers accustomed to ski touring and freerando.
