The Salomon MTN Summit Pure is a ski touring boot with a polyurethane construction, slightly less powerful, slightly heavier (100 grams more per boot) than the Ultramid construction of its big sister, the MTN Summit Pro. However, it is more accessible, both in terms of skills and price, and is therefore meant for intermediate to advanced skiers. It remains a versatile boot, enjoyable in the ascents and offering support and responsiveness in the descents. The Touring Belt BOA system provides perfect heel stability in the descents while reducing potential rubbing points in the ascents. The ski/walk system offers a smooth stride, while the Surelock Skiwalk Mechanism provides a more progressive and more enjoyable flex in the descents. To sum it up, a versatile ski touring boot, allowing you to progress and enjoy beautiful days out in the mountains.
