The Salomon MTN Summit Pure is atouring ski boot, constructed in polyurethane, slightly less high-performance and a little heavier (100 grams more per foot) compared to the Ultramid version of its high-end big sister, the MTN Summit Pro. However, this boot is more affordable, both technically and financially, and is therefore aimed at intermediate to advanced skiers. This is a polyvalent boot, pleasant to wear on the ascent and providing good support and responsiveness on the descent. The Touring Belt BOA system ensures perfect heel support on the way down, while minimizing potential friction on the way up. The ski/walk mechanism ensures a fluid gait, while the Surelock Skiwalk Mechanism offers progressive flexibility and greater comfort when descending.
