Designed to cover long distances across varied terrain, the La Sportiva Prodigio 2 trail running shoe is built to handle both training runs and demanding endurance events. Its construction focuses above all on stability and a consistent stride, even as fatigue sets in. The breathable mesh upper ensures excellent airflow while supporting the foot, helping to limit moisture build-up during prolonged efforts. The Wrapping System support system envelops the midfoot to secure your footing without making the shoe overly rigid, an advantage on technical and uneven trails. Underfoot, the XFlow™ nitrogen-injected foam midsole and insole deliver responsive, consistent cushioning for a smooth energy return. The FriXion® Red dual-density outsole, equipped with 4 mm lugs, prioritises durability at the heel and grip at the forefoot, maintaining control on both dry and mixed surfaces.
