The 1/2 zip version of the PureUll offers a little more versatility with a more protective stand-up collar that can be adjusted for different weather conditions. Very light, it has a 180g/m² Merino wool design that gives it great versatility, so it can easily be worn all season when needed. On the other hand merino wool offers a unique characteristic, it naturally fights bad odors because it is in essence antibacterial. Ideal for steep and other long hikes it should also be added that the wool from which it is made is from a responsible and sustainable harvesting program with the guarantee of animal welfare, an argument that could not be more important, not to say paramount when making his choice.
