Via ferrata lanyard Scorpio® Vertigo SW

The Petzl Scorpio® Vertigo SW via Ferrata lanyard facilitates rope climbing thanks to its elasticated strands, compact absorber and easy-to-handle carabiners. The swivel reduces tangling of the ropes during successive passes, improving comfort of use. The short rope can be rested on a rung with a suitable carabiner (not supplied). Its range of use, from 40 to 120 kg, is suitable for both supervised and individual use.

What's the point of the swivel on this lanyard?

The swivel helps the 2 strands to remain tidy during progression and reduces awkward twisting.

Are the carabiners easy to use with gloves?

Yes, while they feature a double-action automatic lock, they are usable with gloves.

Does this lanyard allow you to take a break on the course?

Yes, the short strand is used for resting on a rung with the addition of a carabiner (not supplied).
