What to do in case of an avalanche?

To locate an avalanche victim, switch to receive mode. Once the direction and distance are displayed on the screen, simply follow the instructions to reach the 3 m zone. From this point, the directional arrows disappear to allow a final cross search, close to the ground. Then, proceed with probing and shovelling to free the person trapped under the snow.

How does the Evo5+ work in multi-victim mode?

The Evo5+ automatically displays icons representing each detected victim. After locating the first person and marking their position, you can move on to search for the next one using the victim marking function. This feature allows you to focus search efforts on the remaining victims while your teammates free the first one.

The Arva Access shovel is robust and functional, designed to rescue avalanche victims. Equipped with an oval aluminium handle, it ensures a very good grip and ease of use. Very compact when folded, the Arva Access 240 probe is highly effective when rescuing someone trapped under an avalanche. With a length of 2.40 m when fully deployed, it consists of 6 aluminium segments with conical inserts for easy assembly. The handle and Flash Lock locking system allow for quick deployment. The Kevlar tensioning cable has proven its efficiency and strength. The graduation allows you to know the exact snow depth.
