Description

The Petzl Neox is a belay device with cam-assisted blocking, designed for lead climbing indoors and oudoors. Its integrated wheel allows the rope to run exceptionally smoothly, making it quick and easy to pay out slack to the climber. In the event of a fall or when resting, the wheel locks, then the cam rotates and pinches the rope: braking is assisted, without ever compromising dynamic belaying.

The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip and makes releasing the rope during descents easier. Its 3:1 mechanical advantage improves control on smaller rope diameters and reduces effort on larger ones. Rope installation is made easier by engraved markings directly on the belay device. The handling remains consistent across Petzl devices, making it easy to get to grips with. Compatible with all single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm, it is optimised for diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm. Its handle is made from recycled polyamide.
