Lange has truly revolutionised the world of ski boots. In 1963, Bob Lange, owner of a polyurethane product factory in Dubuque, introduced the first ski boot made of fibreglass. Leather left the slopes... and soon after, so did laces, with the launch of the first Lange boot featuring buckle closures in 1965. The journey since then has been one of continuous innovation and performance. Proof of this can be seen in Aurélien Ducroz's Freeride World Champion title in 2009 and Didier Defago's Olympic gold medal at the 2010 Vancouver Games.
