Oakley

In 1975, Jim Jannard founded his own company and designed his first sunglasses, betting on a unique style, advanced technical specs and unrivaled quality. The bet was a sheer success and 40 years later the brand Oakley had become one of the most popular sunglasses brand and one of the most purchased sports brand worldwide. Historically, the Oakley brand has been associated with a unique material: unobtainium. This word, borrowed from the world of science fiction, refers to a type of rubber that adheres to the skin, even when wet. From this discovery, Jim Jannard envisioned sports sunglasses that wouldn't slip due to sweat. The first pair, the O-Frame, was released in the early 1980s, specifically designed for motorcycling.
