Crampons for Mountaineering or Glacier Hiking

Camp offers a variety of crampon models to meet the needs of all mountain enthusiasts. Whether you're looking for highly versatile crampons or technical models, the brand's range will have something for you.

Strap-on or Automatic Crampons

The Camp brand offers strap-on crampons compatible with boots without welts. This simple binding system is suitable for glacier trekking or easy mountaineering. For more demanding activities, you should opt for semi-automatic or automatic crampons that are only compatible with boots featuring a rear welt, or both front and rear welts.

Steel and Aluminum Crampons

Crampons are made from steel and/or aluminum. Steel is more durable, while aluminum is lighter. Camp designs models that combine both materials to offer the best properties of each.

The Camp Skimo Nanotech is an ultra-lightweight model designed for ski touring and ski mountaineering. To reduce weight, it is made of aluminum with front points featuring Sandvik Nanoflex steel inserts.

The Camp XLC Nanotech is available in both automatic and semi-automatic versions. This crampon features 12 steel points and a frame made from 7075 aluminum/Sandvik Nanoflex.

Not to be confused with mountaineering crampons, the Camp Ice Master are accessories for hiking boots. These hiking crampons provide better traction on snow but are not a substitute for real mountaineering crampons when tackling steep mountain slopes. They should only be used for easy hikes or for getting around in ski resorts.
