Edelrid belay devices

Edelrid offers innovative belay devices that stand out from traditional models. The brand focuses on assisted braking in the event of a fall, aiming to reduce accidents both indoors and on the crag. Among their range, you'll find the Jul 2, a belay device designed for single ropes. In case of a fall, the system automatically brakes the rope. The user simply needs to keep their hand on the rope below the device to instantly arrest the fall. For dynamic belaying, it's best to step towards the wall to minimize the impact force. At the top of the Edelrid range is the Giga Jul, an ultra-versatile assisted-braking belay device. It's fully compatible with all single and half ropes on the market with diameters between 7.1mm and 10mm.
