Product description — Outerspace Living

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Capita Outerspace Living is the ideal board for pushing your limits in freestyle while enjoying remarkable versatility. Thanks to its directional twin shape and a combination of camber and rocker, it blends float and responsiveness with great ease of use, whether you're hitting features in the terrain park or riding powder in the backcountry. This snowboard has been designed for riders who want to explore every type of terrain without compromise.

What is the Capita Outerspace Living snowboard made for?

The Capita Outerspace Living stands out due to its ability to adapt to all snow conditions. Its traditional camber profile ensures optimal edge hold on groomers, while its rockered sections provide smooth transitions and make it easy to float in fresh snow. The directional twin shape with a slight setback offers intuitive handling and excellent lift. It delivers solid pop for high ollies and soft landings, along with enough forgiveness to recover from edge mistakes.

Who is the Capita Outerspace Living snowboard aimed at?

This model is intended for intermediate snowboarders looking to ride confidently across the entire mountain. Whether you enjoy creative tricks on side hits and in the terrain park or adrenaline-fuelled runs through backcountry powder, this board rises to every challenge thanks to its balance between power and ease of use.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
