Description

The Nidecker Score offers a directional twin shape, meaning it is perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail but has a slightly setback foot stance for easier turn initiations and better lift. The flex is rather soft and the camber + double rocker profile works on any snow type. 

What is the programme of the Nidecker Score snowboard? 

The Nidecker Score features a sandwich construction with a wood core and two layers of biaxial fiberglass. It is robust and lightweight, while having a rather soft flex to provide comfort on edge transfers and do some freestyle with ease. This board is easy to handle, even more so thanks to the slightly setback foot stance. Turns are easy to initiate and the traditional + double rocker profile provides confidence inspiring grip on groomers, while facilitating edge transfers. The board also works well on side hits and in the terrain park, to have even more fun when you’ve learnt the basics.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
