Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Salomon Grail snowboard is ideal for young snowboarders, combining forgiveness and manoeuvrability. Its robust and progressive design guarantees it will last multiple seasons, helping kids progress, whether it’s their first time or they have some experience. The Salomon Grail is characterised by a soft flex and flat camber, guaranteeing optimal manoeuvrability, a comfortable snow/edge contact and secure grip. It minimises the risks of edge catches and the flex is gentle on the legs. This allows kids to feel comfortable fast, limits the number of falls and promotes fun handling. Perfect to discover side hits and have fun in the terrain park, it adapts to any snow condition. A recommended option for children or teenagers with some basic skills and who want to keep progressing while having fun.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
