Salewa

At its origins in 1935, Salewa regrouped saddlers and leather craftsmen. In the mid 50’s, they started catering to alpinists going on expeditions with their first leather backpacks. Building on this success, the brand develops various pieces of equipment for climbers. This is how it created adjustable crampons that remain a benchmark to this day. Since the 70’s, it develops mountaineering equipment: boots, harnesses, carabiners, ropes, tents, sleeping bags … Today, the brand also designs apparel and footwear with Salewa backpacking, hiking, speed hiking boots and shoes. Without forgetting Salewa's Wildfire approach shoe range. Discover on Glisshop, the Salewa Puez hiking clothing line, as well as the MTN Trainer line of backpacks and footwear, or the Salewa Alp Trainer 2 line. Committed to reducing its environmental impact, the brand proudly displays its Dolomites roots.
