Salewa MTN Trainer Footwear: A Benchmark in Hiking and Trekking for Men and Women

Crafted at the gateway to the Dolomites, in the Italian city of Montebelluna, renowned as the world capital of mountain footwear, MTN Trainer models embodie Salewa's alpine spirit. They feature a suede upper, resistant to abrasion.

These shoes and boots comfortably envelop the feet and provide effective support on steep paths, during day hikes or treks. The 3F System, which connects the instep to the sole and heel, offers unparalleled support, while allowing great freedom of movement. The midsole enhances cushioning with every step.

These Salewa shoes and boots allow for precise adjustment thanks to laces that extend over the toes, which are well protected behind a rand. Fitted with Vibram soles, the MTN Trainer is designed for intensive use on all types of surfaces, proving to be effective on grass, rocks, and in mud. They also have the particularity of having lugs in the central part that ensure a good grip on via ferrata ladders.

Gore-Tex (GTX) Low Cut Shoes and Mid Cut Boots

Available in both men's and women's models, the MTN Trainer comes in low and mid-cut versions, as well as in GTX options. They benefit from a Gore-Tex waterproof-breathable membrane that guarantees your feet stay dry, whether you're walking in the early morning dew, in the rain, or crossing a stream.

Salewa Mountain Trainer Lite: Between Comfort and Lightness

MTN Trainer Lite hiking shoes and boots are lightweight versions of the MTN Trainer, thanks to a synthetic fabric upper. Apart from being lighter, they are also more flexible, while showing good resistance to wear.

Lite models feature Pomoca outsoles whose lugs and deep grooves ensure grip and traction on a wide variety of terrains, whether it's dirt, rock, mud, grass, snow...

Like the classic MTN Trainers, the Lite are also made in Italy. They combine lightness and comfort, allowing hikers to feel comfortable both on hikes and treks. They provide very good support and adjust just as well to the morphology of both male and female feet.
