  • It is equipped with a lightweight EPS liner, a material resistant to impacts.
  • For enhanced protection, the helmet integrates MIPS technology (Multi-directional Impact Protection System), which protects from multi-directional impacts.
  • It also features a goggle clip for improved comfort and safety.
  • Weighing 480 g in size S, the Fornix is a lightweight choice for skiers and snowboarders.

MIPS Technology in the Poc Fornix

MIPS technology (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) featured on the Poc Fornix is a key element of its design. It provides enhanced protection against rotational impacts, reducing the risk of brain injury during an accident.

This technology allows the helmet to rotate slightly in relation to the head upon impact, absorbing some of the rotational force. This adds an extra layer of safety beyond the standard protection against impacts and sharp objects like rocks provided by the helmet’s shell.

The Fornix MIPS also features an extended shell that covers the helmet's edge, improving its durability.

Pocito Model: From Classic Black to Neon Pink

The Pocito version of the Poc Fornix helmet is specially designed for young athletes. Tailored to children's sizes, this helmet offers the same benefits as the adult model but with additional features for enhanced safety on the slopes.

  • It comes in neon colours for better visibility, minimising the risk of collisions.
  • Reflective patches further improve visibility in low-light conditions.
  • The Pocito Fornix model also includes MIPS technology for optimal impact protection.

For better assistance in case of an accident, the Pocito Fornix SPIN model is equipped with an NFC chip to store medical information, making it easier and quicker for rescue teams to respond.
