Once the French brand’s flagship range, it achieved monumental success at the Lillehammer Olympic Games and the Thunder Bay Cross-Country Skiing World Championships. But from 2000, a change in strategy occurred; X-IUM was introduced, and Delta was relegated to a secondary role. However, this was no setback! Delta Skate, from its inception to today, the DNA of Rossignol Cross-Country Skis:

Anyone who experienced the first Delta models will undoubtedly remember their incredible dynamism; in skating, it was the first ski of its kind. A sensation-packed powerhouse, incredibly effective on hard snow. Since then, Rossignol's skating skis have retained this characteristic, making them uniquely recognisable during tests. Skiers who enjoy lively skis underfoot cannot overlook how the Delta Skate range has been a milestone in the history of cross-country skating skis.

Today, though more docile than the X-IUM skis, the Delta range still boasts impressive control and stability, not to mention the reassuring effect of their incredible grip in skating. This range, available in three models for skating, includes a beginner ski, the Delta Sport; a recreational ski, the Delta Comp; and a performance-focused ski, the Delta Course.

Delta Classic Range, a Successful Evolution to the R-Skin System:

Cross-country skiing encompasses two techniques, so the ranges are available in both skating and classic styles. The Delta Classic range has undergone the same evolution as the Delta Skate and is now available in an R-Skin version.

R-Skin represents the grip skin technology that has replaced scales. More comfortable, easier to use, and highly efficient in terms of glide, the R-Skin system has taken the Rossignol Delta cross-country skis to a new level, making them even more accessible and progressive. A significant advancement for a range that can only be described as historic, with nearly 30 years of existence.
