What are the Rossignol Sender and Soul skis designed for?
The Sender Soul 92 is one of the most accessible entry points into the Rossignol freeride universe, with a 92 mm format that keeps handling responsive on groomers. The Sender Soul Pro Xpress, also at 92 mm, stands out as an all-mountain ski with a construction geared more towards versatility. At 100 mm, the Sender 100 adopts a more playful feel thanks to its twin-tip shape and Air Tip and VAS technologies.
The Soul 102 skis sit in an intermediate position, with a larger surface area for skiing powder. The Soul W 102 remains approachable for intermediate to advanced skiers.
Above this, the Sender 110 clearly strengthens the powder-focused character. The Sender 118 and Sender Free 118 are among the widest models in this comparison, with its 118 mm waist , it is meant for sessions in deep snow. The Sender Free 118 stands out thanks to its carbon and Kevlar reinforcements.
Rossignol skis from 92 to 118 mm underfoot
The waist width makes it easy to see the progression between the different models. The 92 mm models remain the closest to all-round skiing, while the Sender 100 and Soul 102 increase the available surface area for soft snow without moving into the widest formats.
At 110 mm, the Sender 110 favours powder and big, sweeping turns. The Sender 118 and Sender Free 118 take this concept up to 118 mm, with a generous surface area and a double rocker suited to deep conditions. These Rossignol models therefore cover several skiing style, from versatile skis to models intended for days when powder becomes the main playground.
