Scarpa F1

Available for both men and women with the Scarpa F1 Wmn, the Scarpa F1 favours versatility between ascent and descent. Its 102 mm last offers more room than the F1 LT, XT and RS, while its 62° range of motion frees up the ankle on the climb. The Boa closure allows precise adjustment of the forefoot, and the Grilamid shell provides the support needed when it is time to head back down.

Scarpa F1 LT

The Scarpa F1 LT is the lightest model in the range shown here. At just 1,980 g per pair in size 27, with a 100 mm last and, above all, 72° of range of motion, it is clearly designed for efficiency on long climbs and big-vertical days. Its Boa system refines foot hold, while the 3D Lambda Frame and Grid Frame Tech technologies help maintain stiffness while reducing material. It is particularly suited to experienced ski tourers looking to move fast uphill without opting for a pure race boot.

Scarpa F1 XT

The Scarpa F1 XT takes the technical ski mountaineering focus even further. It retains a 100 mm last and 72° range of motion, with a shell in fibreglass-reinforced Grilamid and a Carbon Grilamid LFT cuff to combine low weight with stiffness. The Wave Lite system distributes the closure pressure across the foot via a cable and micrometric adjustment, while the Overlap Shield Tech construction makes entry easier and reduces pressure points. This is the most uphill-oriented option for long, technical climbs and mixed terrain.

Scarpa F1 RS

Available for men and women, the Scarpa F1 RS places more emphasis on downhill performance than the F1 LT and XT. Its Scarpa Overlap Flow construction combines soft panels over the instep to aid walking with a stiffer lower section that improves power transfer to the ski. Its 101 mm last remains precise, and the Boa H+1 Remote Dial allows micrometric adjustment of the fit. It is therefore aimed at experienced skiers seeking a balance between uphill mobility and a more solid feel on the descent.

Scarpa F1 SE

With its 102 mm last, the Scarpa F1 SE prioritises versatility and comfort on ski touring outings. Its Boa system enables precise adjustment of the shell closure, while its 62° range of motion supports walking phases very effectively. Its construction and fit make it a more accessible, more forgiving F1 than the lightest and most technical models in the range.

Scarpa F1 Junior

The Scarpa F1 Junior takes the range's principles and adapts them to young skiers. The polymers used are softer than on the adult models to achieve a feel better suited to lighter builds, while still retaining a 102 mm last and 62° of range of motion. It therefore seeks a compromise between lightness and mobility on the ascent, then support and control on the descent.

Scarpa F1 GT

Available in men’s and women’s versions, the Scarpa F1 GT stands out for its precise 100 mm last and 72° range of motion. Its fibreglass-reinforced Grilamid construction aims to maintain stiffness while keeping weight down. The Wave Lite system distributes closure pressure across the foot without relying on multiple buckles, while the Overlap Shield Tech construction makes putting the boot on easier and limits pressure points. It is aimed at users who want to prioritise efficiency and mobility on the ascent while retaining enough support to enjoy the descent.

Our view on the Scarpa F1 range

With innovative technologies such as Carbon Core Technology, the Evo Tongue, Boa closure, the Recco search system, and much more, the Scarpa F1 boots are highly ski touring boots. The shells benefit from a clean design and careful construction. They offer a generous range of motion in walk mode for maximum uphill efficiency. A rear lever lets you switch from ski mode to walk mode for quick transitions.

The F1s are light so they do not slow you down on climbs with skins, while still guaranteeing excellent comfort, perfect support and good lateral stiffness when it comes to descending.
