To create it, Faction uses locally sourced wood, significantly reducing CO2 emissions from transportation. This timber come from sustainably managed forests and is FSC certified, ensuring responsible forestry practices.

Continuing its sustainability efforts, Faction also incorporates recycled materials into the manufacturing process of its skis, minimising its impact without compromising quality or performance. During production, waste from composite materials and manufacturing excesses are collected and reused.

The Agent skis are assembled in a cutting-edge factory powered by renewable energy, further reducing the carbon footprint of each ski produced. In addition, Faction donates 1% of the profits from ski sales to the 1% For the Planet organisation, contributing to global initiatives to combat climate change and preserve ecosystems.

A wide range of sizes

In 2023, Faction revamped its Agent range by offering a greater range of sizes, recognising the importance of precise fit to optimise performance and comfort. The 179 cm Agent 2 model was replaced by two models at 177 cm and 182 cm. The Agent 3 also evolved into two models at 178 cm and 183 cm. These adjustments meet the specific needs of each skier, significantly enhancing the user experience. A slightly shorter or longer ski affects manoeuvrability and response, influencing how it performs in different snow conditions. These options allow skiers to choose the model that best suits their skiing style and goals, whether for efficient climbs or daring descents.

The Faction Agent 1 is an excellent choice for ski tourers who want to be fast on the climb and are looking for a high-performance lightweight ski. Its top-quality construction and unidirectional shape, combined with a modern touch, make it a ski capable of delivering reliable and enjoyable performance in a variety of conditions. Its reasonable waist width (86 mm) makes it a dependable ally, comfortable on varying snow conditions. It is suitable for skiers of different levels, designed for intermediate to expert skiers.
The Faction Agent 2 is midway between the Agents 1 and 3. With 96 mm underfoot, it is the most versatile of the range. Capable of following you everywhere, from groomers to steep chutes, and through the glades, it’s a true all-rounder. Designed for those who want a lightweight option for climbs but don’t want to compromise on skiing performance. It's our favourite.
Finally, the Faction Agent 3 is the ultimate freetouring ski. With 106 mm underfoot and a dynamic flex, it provides great float in powder without feeling like you’re lugging dead weight when skinning.
